The Edwardsburg Public School District welcomes applications for enrollment through the Schools of Choice program from Kindergarten-12th grade students living in the Lewis Cass ISD and any contiguous ISD (Berrien, Van Buren and St. Joseph). Students accepted under the Schools of Choice 105 and 105C programs do not need to obtain permission from their resident district, as their state aid will follow to their new district.

The Board of Education votes annually to participate in the Schools of Choice program. Edwardsburg Public Schools is now accepting applications for the First Semester of 2025-2026 in the following grade levels:

Kindergarten – Unlimited

First Grade – Unlimited

Second Grade – Unlimited

Third Grade – Full (0 seats available)

Fourth Grade – Full (0 seats available)

Fifth Grade – Unlimited

Sixth Grade – Unlimited

Seventh Grade – Unlimited

Eighth Grade – Full (0 seats available)

Ninth Grade – Unlimited

Tenth Grade – Full (0 seats available)

Eleventh Grade – Full (0 seats available)

Twelfth Grade - Unlimited

 

For second semester enrollment, Schools of Choice applications will be accepted January 5-16, 2026.  The number of openings available will be advertised at the beginning of January 2026.

Out-of-State Tuition
 
The Board of Education establishes the tuition rate yearly.  The tuition rate for the 2024/2025 school year is $9608 per pupil which is based upon the foundation allowance received from the State of Michigan.  It may increase in the 2025/2026 school year.

A tuition student may apply electronically at any time throughout the year. Applications must be approved by the Superintendent of Schools.
