| Dear Parents and Students Welcome to Edwardsburg Middle School. On behalf of the entire staff, I want to welcome all of you to an exciting 2008-09 school year. Collectively, we pledge to provide every student an optimal educational experience. The success and sound reputation of Edwardsburg Middle School is the result of tremendous student, parental and community support and involvement. We strive to nurture this partnership in both the academic and extracurricular setting. Educational research indicates that those students that participate in extracurricular activities tend to achieve at a higher academic level than nonparticipants. We are proud of the fact that over 80% of our middle school students are involved with extracurricular clubs and related activities. The dedication and commitment of the middle school staff is second to none. We view education as a lifelong learning process and strive to prepare today's youth for tomorrows ever changing challenges. If there is anything we can do to help your child, please do not hesitate to call. Our goal will always be to provide the best possible education for each student.
