Wireless Connection

 

The Edwardsburg Public School is seeking bids on replacement of access points on the towers at Eagle Lake and the Middle School. 

 

2 - Proxim Tsunami 45

2 – AC/DC Power converter 100BaseT

2 - Pigtail connectors for Tsunami 45

2 - LMR (WRC900-75mm) cable for  towers

2 – Lightning Arrestor, 5.2-6.0 GHz

2 – Breakout and termination kit for the LMR cable

2 – 29dBi 2 foot parabolic, 5.8 Single

2’ Radome for WRSP2-5.2 & 5.8

 

Include configuration of equipment, installation of equipment, running new cable, training on all equipment.

 

 

Make Sure everything is in working order

 

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

·        Follow all Safety Requirements and Manufacturers requirements for installation including all A.D.A., Fire Marshall & OSHA standards.

·        Warranties – manufacturers and yours

·        Repair and service options

·        Business information (i.e. how long you’ve been at the present location, school references, etc.)

·        See attachment for Liability & other insurance requirements

·        5% bid bond is required.  The BIDDER to whom a contract is awarded shall be required to furnish the 100% performance/payment bonds.  The bonds shall be executed on forms furnished in the contract documents by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Michigan and acceptable as surety to the OWNER.  Each bond shall be accompanied by a “Power of Attorney” authorizing the attorney-in-fact to bind the surety company and certified to include the date of the bond.

 

Deadline for completion –

 

Your sealed bids attached to the enclosed bid form should be marked “Wireless Bid” and sent to the Edwardsburg Public Schools Business Office, 69410 Section Street, Edwardsburg, MI 49112 by noon (local time) on Monday, December 23, 2002.  All bids are to remain firm for 90 days.    

 

We reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids in whole or in part, to inspect any/or all bids, and to waive informalities, irregularities, and/or errors in the bidding to the extent permitted by law.  Awards will be made in the best interest of the District.
